Tagore stated that Sarma had become akin to Ravi Shankar Prasad and was following the path of Anurag Thakur. The Congress MP accused the BJP of attacking Rahul Gandhi as it was integral to their political strategy, emphasizing Gandhi’s role in resisting the perceived authoritarian rule of Narendra Modi and Amit Shah.
