At the 60th Raising Day celebration of Sashatra Seema Bal (SSB) in Tezpur, Assam, Union Home Minister Amit Shah articulated his optimism, predicting India’s liberation from Naxalism within the next three years. Speaking confidently about the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Shah emphasized the collaborative efforts of SSB, CRPF, and BSF in significantly weakening the Naxal movement.

Amit Shah praised the SSB for its courage in confronting Naxal challenges, highlighting its active engagement in states like Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and Bihar. He acknowledged their dual role in securing national borders with neighboring countries like Nepal and Bhutan. On the occasion of SSB’s 60th Raising Day, the Indian government released a commemorative postal stamp. Shah emphasized that the stamp serves as a perpetual reminder of SSB’s unwavering commitment to duty and their significant contribution to national security.

Amit Shah underscored the government’s commitment to the welfare of Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), including initiatives benefiting organizations like CRPF.
