Manik Saha Inquired About the Physical Condition of the Victims of Post-Election Political Terrorism

Date:

It has been alleged that many workers of the ruling BJP have been attacked by Left Front and Congress-backed miscreants in Tripura after the Assembly election results were announced. They are currently undergoing treatment at GB Hospital. On Friday, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha rushed to the hospital to inquire about the physical condition of the victims.

After coming out of the hospital and facing the reporters, he said that many BJP workers were attacked by the opposition in various places including Vishalgarh, Shantirbazar and Chaomanu after the results were announced. The opposition is not able to accept their defeat and this unpleasant situation is being created, he said in an angry tone.

He claimed that in the same way that the atmosphere of terror was established 25 years before 2018, in the same way, organized attacks on the workers of the ruling party have been carried out by the criminals sheltered by the opposition party. He also added that the culture of the opposition CPM is to attack and plot.

He warned sternly that no one will be spared from those involved in this terrorism. The State Director General of Police and District Superintendent of Police have been directed to take strict legal action against them. He emphatically said that a new history has been created in Tripura in the Legislative Assembly Elections 2023. Therefore, he appealed to the common people of the state to keep the environment of peace and prosperity intact.
