In a parallel operation later that day, the police targeted another location in Guwahati, leading to the arrest of three additional individuals involved in the illegal drug trade. This operation yielded a seizure of 96.10 kilograms of marijuana, further denting the illicit market in the region. The seized marijuana, with an estimated street value running into several lakhs, is a testament to the scale of the illicit drug trade in the region.
