Nadda Praised BJP in His Two-Day Visit to Tripura

Bharatiya Janata Party National President Jagat Prakash Nadda (JP Nadda) is on a two-day visit to Tripura. On the second day of his tour, he addressed a press conference in Agartala. During this, he attacked the CPI(M) fiercely and praised the achievements of the central and state government.

Addressing the press conference, JP Nadda said that 35 years of Communist Party of India (Marxist) rule did nothing for women and ignored tribal, exploited youth. They encouraged terrorism and infiltration. Militancy was at its peak and drug smuggling was a thriving business.

BJP government worked for all round development of Tripura
Nadda said that the BJP government worked for the all-around development of Tripura. This means enormous investments are being made in the infrastructure sector, industrial growth has accelerated, and sports and adventure sports have been encouraged.

‘Boosted Sports in Tripura’
The BJP National President said that sports have been promoted in Tripura under the BJP government, natural farming has been encouraged and tourism has been brought into focus. Tripura has taken a quantum leap towards not only state connectivity or national connectivity, but also international connectivity.

‘Development in every field’
Nadda said that when the government came to Tripura under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Biplab Deb and it was later handled by Dr. Manik Saha.

‘Landless laborers got the right of land’

The BJP national president said that landless laborers working in tea gardens have been given land ownership and Rs 85 crore is being spent on education, health, and electricity.

‘Agriculture income doubled’
Nadda said that agricultural income has doubled from Rs 6500 per month to Rs 11,000 per month. There are 2.5 lakh beneficiaries under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi and Rs 424 crore has been disbursed. He said that the per capita income of Tripura has increased by 30%. SEZ is being set up. These are some of the indicators of economic growth.

’33 percent reservation given to women in government jobs’
He said that the empowerment of women has been done literally. 33 percent reservation has been given in government jobs. There has been a 7-fold increase in self-help groups. These groups have been encouraged and supported by the government.
