The eagerly awaited academic session at the new dental college in Tripura is set to kick off in September. The upcoming dental college, located within the premises of the IGM Hospital, was originally established during the previous administration’s tenure as part of an expansion initiative. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha shared the exciting news during his recent visit to the college building, where he assessed the available infrastructure and expressed his contentment.

The Chief Minister praised the newly constructed multi-storied building and its overall infrastructure. He confirmed that academic activities and studies would commence next month, marking a significant milestone for the state’s education sector.

In a display of community spirit, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, alongside AMC Mayor Dipak Majumder and Gopal Chandra Roy, the Banamalipur MLA of Congress, will participate in a voluntary blood donation camp on August 13. The event, organized by the Deshbandhu Chittaranjan Club in the Shivnagar area, echoes the call made by the Chief Minister himself.

Additionally, Dr. Manik Saha will inaugurate a large-scale blood donation camp hosted by the Tripura Working Journalist Association (TWJA) at the Agartala Press Club at 11:00 AM. This event is aligned with the Association’s west district conference, set to begin shortly. Joining the Chief Minister for the inauguration will be Lokayukta Kalyan Narayan Bhattacharjee, AMC Chairman Dipak Majumder, Secretary of the ICA department Pradip Chakraborty, and Director Bimbisar Bhattacharjee. The ceremony will be presided over by TWJA’s Vice President, Asit Baran Ghosh.

As Tripura prepares for these significant events, the enthusiasm of both the government and the community underscores the collective commitment to progress and service.
