Kota, Rajasthan – April 2, 2025: At just 16 years old, Nishtha Joshi is making significant strides in advocating for girls’ education and social development in Rajasthan. The Kota-based student has dedicated herself to ensuring that underprivileged girls receive access to quality education and essential resources, believing that “an educated girl leads to an empowered society.”

Born on September 6, 2008, Nishtha has been passionate about academic excellence and social reform from an early age. She has actively collaborated with schools, NGOs, and local organizations to address barriers preventing girls from accessing education, including financial constraints and societal norms. Through her efforts, she has contributed to improving educational infrastructure in multiple schools across Kota.

One of her key initiatives includes her work with Balika Grih in Kota, where she has helped implement better learning facilities and essential amenities for girls. Additionally, she has played a crucial role in enhancing government school education in Rangbari, working alongside NGOs to reduce dropout rates and improve digital literacy.

Nishtha’s leadership extends beyond education. As the Junior JC President of JCI Kota Surbhi and JCI Kota Kings, she has spearheaded multiple social welfare initiatives, including digital awareness and skill development programs. Under her leadership, various campaigns have been launched to promote education, hygiene awareness, and environmental conservation.

Beyond her advocacy work, Nishtha is a well-rounded individual with accomplishments in various fields. She holds a diploma in Kathak dance, is an active NCC cadet, and has a keen interest in singing, cooking, sketching, and swimming. She is also learning French and has been developing her technical skills in programming languages such as Java and C++. Currently, she is enrolled in a full-stack software development course to enhance her expertise in the tech field.

Her dedication has earned her recognition in several local and regional publications, highlighting her contributions to education and social causes. Speaking about her mission, Nishtha emphasizes, “Education is not just about acquiring knowledge; it is about transforming lives. Every girl deserves the chance to learn, grow, and shape her future.”
