NPP candidate denies the allegations

The list of candidates was released after a meeting of the Central Election Committee headed by Mallikarjun Kharge. In a statement, the party said that the Central Election Committee of the Congress has approved the names of the candidates for the upcoming Nagaland Assembly elections.
Congress has fielded S Amento Chisti from Dimapur-II (ST), V Lasuh from Dimapur-III (ST), Akvi Zhimomi from Ghasapani-I and Rosie Thomas from Tenning (ST).
