On Sunday, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of Egypt conferred the prestigious ‘Order of the Nile’ on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, recognizing his invaluable services to Egypt and humanity. The ‘Order of the Nile’ is Egypt’s highest honor and has been awarded since 1915 to heads of state, crown princes, and vice presidents who have made significant contributions.
The order, made of pure gold, consists of a collar comprising three-square gold units, each symbolizing different aspects. The first unit represents the idea of protecting the state against evil, the second symbolizes the prosperity and happiness brought by the Nile River, and the third signifies wealth and endurance.
This esteemed accolade marks the 13th highest state honor conferred upon Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Throughout his tenure, he has received numerous honorary awards from various countries, including the United States, Russia, and Middle Eastern nations.
