This follows his visits to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi in 2015 and the Istiqlal Mosque in Indonesia in 2018, showcasing his respect for Islamic nations and their religious beliefs.

In 2015, he visited the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in the United Arab Emirates, and in 2018, he visited the Istiqlal Mosque in Indonesia during the holy month of Ramadan. Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Egypt is part of his two-nation tour, which also includes the United States. The visit to Egypt follows President El-Sisi’s participation as the chief guest at India’s Republic Day celebrations.
