Protestor Dispersed To Rescue Education Director From Locked Office In Tripura

The protestors are a section of 10,323 ad hoc teachers who lost their jobs in early 2021 after years of the legal process owning to serious flows in their recruitment, demanding their reinstatement into the service. The Supreme Court 2017 upheld an order of 2014 of the high court of Tripura on the termination of their services.

The teachers have been making protests in various forms daily to press their demand of reinstatement of fresh recruitment. They also rejected an assurance from the state government of “Phased recruitment” in different capacities in various departments.

The angry protestors also locked the chamber of the Education Director after their leaders were realized from custody due to a brief detention. Police after so much fight was finally rescued the education director by following order from their superiors.
