Rally in Agartala on the Occasion of World Tuberculosis Day

World Tuberculosis Prevention Day was celebrated on Friday in the state along with the entire country. An awareness campaign was organized in Agartala on this occasion. March 24 is World Tuberculosis Day. The day is being celebrated all over the world Various awareness programs have been taken in this regard in our country.

As part of the nationwide program, awareness programs are also conducted in the state on the initiative of the health department. An awareness rally was started on the occasion of Raksha Nibaran Day by Health Department from Suprabhat Ram Thakur Sangh. The train travels through various routes in the city Mayor of Agartala Pur Nigam Deepak Majumdar officially started the rally. Also among the dignitaries who participated in the rally were Deputy Mayor Monika Das Dutta Director of Health Department and others. Taking part in the rally, Agartala Pura Corporation Mayor Deepak Majumder said that the Indian government has taken steps to eradicate tuberculosis from the country by 2025. With the aim of implementing this effort of the government, various programs including awareness campaigns have been taken across the country.
