Dr. Manik Saha, the Chief Minister, has expressed unwavering confidence in the BJP’s victory for both the Boxanagar (No. 20) and Dhanpur (No. 23) seats in the upcoming September 5 by-elections. Addressing a massive rally along the border of Bishalgarh and Boxanagar, the Chief Minister emphasized that securing the triumph of BJP candidates, Bindu Debnath (Dhanpur) and Tofazzel Hossain (Boxanagar), is crucial for the balanced progress of the entire state.

Dr. Manik Saha, along with MP (West) Pratima Bhowmik and Minister Sushanta Chowdhury, accompanied the party’s candidates during the nomination filing process, underlining the party’s strong support for their candidacy.

Following the nomination filing, the Chief Minister addressed the party’s dedicated workers, applauding the significant achievements of the central government led by Narendra Modi. He highlighted the widespread benefits brought about by the implementation of various government schemes, asserting that “No other central government had done so much for the poor people.” Dr. Saha urged party members and candidates to showcase these accomplishments by both the central and state governments.
