In an organizational gathering at the BJP state office in Agartala, Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha expressed confidence on Thursday. He anticipates the BJP setting new vote margin records in both Lok Sabha seats during the 2024 elections.
Addressing Janajati leaders, including district presidents, and Mandal presidents, Dr. Saha emphasized the party’s commitment to continuous service. He highlighted the motto “Seva hi Sangathan” under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. The Chief Minister underscored recent successes in winning three states and ongoing efforts to bolster the organization.
The primary focus, as outlined by Dr. Saha, is to strengthen the party for the imminent Lok Sabha election. With 20 Scheduled Tribe (ST) reserved seats in the state, discussions centered around formulating strategies for Janajati Morchas, District Presidents, and Mandal presidents. These strategies aim to operate effectively at the grassroots level.
“We have initiated preparations for the Lok Sabha election well in advance,” said Dr. Saha. Teams of vistarak (expansionists) will be dispatched to the 20 ST reserved seats from here. He is confident that, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, victory will be secured in the Lok Sabha, surpassing the margin of votes from the previous election.
