Tripura Chief Minister’s Plea for Special Ayodhya Train

In a letter to Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, Tripura’s Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha has requested a special train from Agartala to Ayodhya for the upcoming inauguration of the Ram Temple on January 22nd, 2024.

Ayodhya Ram Mandir Inauguration

Highlighting the cultural and religious significance of the event, Dr. Saha described the Ram Mandir inauguration as a momentous occasion symbolizing unity, harmony, and India’s rich cultural heritage.

Approximately 2000 devotees from Tripura are eager to participate as pilgrims in this auspicious event. Their journey is planned to commence on January 20th, 2024, and conclude on January 23rd, 2024.

Tripura Devotees Ready to Commence Journey

In his letter, Dr. Saha emphasized the need for a special train service to facilitate the smooth travel of devotees. He urged the Railway Minister to promptly consider and arrange for a dedicated train from Agartala to Ayodhya on January 20th, 2024, and a return train on January 23rd, 2024.

Expressing the cultural and religious enthusiasm of the people of Tripura, the Chief Minister emphasized that Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw’s support would not only foster goodwill but also resonate with the spirit of unity embodied by the Ayodhya Ram Mandir inauguration.

Fair Cost to Be Borne by Pilgrims

Dr. Saha requested the Railway Minister’s urgent attention to the matter and expressed gratitude if the necessary steps could be taken promptly. He also mentioned that the pilgrims themselves are willing to bear the fair cost for this special train service.
