Incidents of sexual violence against women continue to plague our society, and it is crucial that we work towards creating a safe environment for women. The government, law enforcement agencies, and society as a whole need to take concrete steps to prevent such incidents from occurring.
The victim should be provided with all necessary support and medical care. It is also important to ensure that the victim’s identity is protected, and she is not subjected to any further trauma or harassment.
