Tripura: Six Individuals Arrested in Agartala for Illegal Entry


Agartala, 11th February 2024: In a significant development, authorities at the Agartala Railway Station apprehended three Bangladeshi nationals accompanied by three Indian touts on charges of illegal entry into India. The individuals were taken into custody as they attempted to cross the border with the alleged assistance of the Indian touts.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the Bangladeshi nationals clandestinely entered India from Bangladesh, exploiting the facilitation provided by the Indian touts. The arrest has prompted the registration of a specific case against the individuals, with charges filed under the relevant sections of the law.
