Kiren Rijiju, Union Law Minister of India stated that if the Bharatiya Janata Party is returned to power in the northeastern state of Tripura, the state’s growth would reach a new height.
He claimed that despite the Congress’s lengthy control in the Northeast, its leaders had not given the area the importance it deserved.
The Bharatiya Janata Party which was formerly a weak organization in the northeast has grown into a powerful force there. Since Narendra Modi became Prime Minister of India the saffron party has increased development efforts in the state.

He also stated that when the Bharatiya Janata Party took power in Tripura during the 2018 Assembly elections, the development began quickly in the state and peace had been restored to the entire northeast.
The Bharatiya Janata party in Tripura laid the groundwork for the state’s development over the past four and a half years, and if the party is returned to power, the state’s development will reach new success in the future.
