Covid-Infections Over 200; Active cases Rise Slightly, 4 More Deaths in India

The daily number of coronavirus infections in India is fluctuating daily, but is still above 200. In the last 24 hours, 214 new people have been infected with corona in India, during this time 4 people have died.

According to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, after the death of two people in Kerala, one in Maharashtra and one in Uttar Pradesh in the last 24 hours, the total number of corona deaths in India till 8 am on Saturday was 5,30,718. The number of active corona patients in the country has increased to 2 thousand 509. Currently, 0.01 percent of corona patients are under treatment in India. According to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, a total of 4,41,46,534 corona patients have recovered in India till eight o’clock on Saturday morning, 98.80 percent in terms of percentage.

A total of 4,46,79,761 people have been infected with corona in India. Meanwhile, 56 thousand 997 recipients have received the corona vaccine in India in the last 24 hours under the nationwide vaccination drive, resulting in more than 220.13 crore vaccinations completed in India till 8 am on Saturday. The total number of vaccine recipients is 220,13,37,209. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 1,88,768 samples were collected from the bodies of 1,88,768 people in India throughout the day on January 6.
