FIA’s Guinness World Records on Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav in New York

The Federation of Indian Associations (FIA) set two Guinness World Records for hosting the highest number of different flags as part of the Amrit Festival celebrations in the US state of New York. Indian diaspora attempted to commemorate 75 years of Indian independence, which was marked as the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence. FIA President Kenny Desai said he salutes the vision and efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He also said that the FIA ​​has tried to make his motherland in America shine by trying to record.

FIA President Ankur Vaidya said these records are dedicated to the global community and thanked the community for their support without which this achievement would not have been possible. Desai further said that today the FIA has made India proud and this achievement is a tribute to the unknown and unsung heroes of the freedom struggle.

FIA Secretary and Events Chair for Efforts Praveen Bansal said that this effort required massive efforts and the entire team of FIA volunteers had been working day and night for the past few months, especially since logistics in itself is a big challenge. More than 1500 volunteers who had registered for the program came early in the morning creating an atmosphere of patriotic fervor.

Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is a series of events organized by the Government of India to commemorate the 75th anniversary of India’s independence. This festival was celebrated as a public festival across the country with the spirit of public participation. Celebrating the nectar festival of independence, the tricolor campaign in every part of the world, including India, has created a sense of patriotism among the people, as well as inspired the youth to do something big for the country through this campaign.
