Mahesh Sharma Reached Tripura for the First Time After Becoming In-Charge

Former Union Minister and BJP MP Dr. Mahesh Sharma reached Tripura on Thursday after getting the responsibility of in-charge of Tripura BJP. He was accompanied by BJP’s national spokesperson and convener Sambit Patra, former Chief Minister of the state and presently in-charge of Haryana, Biplap Kumar Deb. On his arrival in Tripura, state BJP president Rajiv Bhattacharya, MLA Krishnadhan Das, BJP general secretary Tinku Roy and others accorded a traditional welcome to Mahesh Sharma at the MBB airport.

According to the information, after reaching here Mahesh Sharma held constant meetings. He held meetings with the party’s mandal chairman and mandal in-charges. It has been told that in the meeting, an attempt was made to know how the atmosphere of the 2023 assembly elections is different from 2018 and what kind of preparations will have to be done by the party. Tripura BJP State President Rajiv Bhattacharya, Tripura in-charge Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Assam and Tripura Organization Minister Phanindranath Sharma and North East Coordinator and BJP National Spokesperson Sambit Patra were present in Thursday’s meeting.

Along with this, it has also been learned that the newly appointed in-charge Dr. Sharma will hold several meetings with the state leaders of BJP including Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, Deputy CM Jishnu Debbarman at the BJP headquarters. He will also hold meetings with various front leaders. It is noteworthy that ever since Rajiv Bhattacharya took over the charge, he has been meeting various leaders and workers of the party and holding regular meetings.
