20 to 25 miscreants attacked the house of Sadhan Tanti, a Left activist in Tanti Para, for not voting for the Padmaful symbol and for being a leftist supporter.
Sadhan Tanti’s family members were brutally beaten. The family members were seriously injured 6 people including a woman were injured in the incident. They were taken to Khoai District Hospital for treatment. There has been intense anger in the area over the incident CPI(M) and Congress strongly condemned and condemned such attacks on the eve of counting of votes.
