Dr. Manik Saha, the chief minister of Tripura, pleaded to the state’s citizens to uphold law and order, harmony, and peace throughout the state on the day of the vote counting and after the mandate period.
He stated in a statement posted on social media that the people of the state exercised their right to vote on February 16 last year healthily and peacefully. An important chapter in the history of the state is represented by this calm election process.
The results of the election will be made public on March 2nd. He asks all groups of people, regardless of party membership, to make sure that voting and vote counting is done in a calm and orderly setting.
He also said that the Election Commission and the state government have taken all necessary precautions to ensure peace and order in Tripura.
