In anticipation of the vibrant Mayer Gomon Carnival 2023, the authorities have issued a comprehensive traffic advisory to ensure smooth proceedings during the festivities. The following guidelines will be enforced on October 26, 2023:
No Vehicle Zone: From 2:00 PM onwards, the road from Kaman Chowmuhani to Dashamighat via Sua Chowmuhani, Post Office Chowmuhani, Paradise Chowmuhani, and Battala will be reserved exclusively for the emersion of Idol Durga until the procession is concluded.
Restricted Entry Locations: The following areas will be designated as no-entry zones: Gandhighat, Nogrefola, Battala, Dashamigha, Joypur, Auguntak Club, Joynagar Office Lane, Fire Service Chowmuhani, IGM Chowmuhani, Birendia Club Junction, Back Side of IGM Hospital, RMS Chowmunani, Madyapara Road, Orient Chowmuhani, Jackson Gate, Gol Bazar, Laimatya Crossing, and Nefajl Chowmuhan.
Emergency Routes: For emergencies, two routes have been established:
From TMC Hapania to IGM/GBP Hospital/ILS: TMC Hapania – AD Nagar – Fly Over – IGM – TRIC – BK Chowmuhani – Colonel Chowmuhani – Haradhan Sangha: North Gate – Radhanagar – Murtiprangan – GBP Hospitals.
From GBP Hospital/ILS Hospital towards IGM/Hapania TMC: L5/GB – Murtiprangan – Rachanagar – North gate – Haradhan – Colonel – B.K – RMS – IGM – Flyover – AD Nagar.
Airport/Railway Passengers: Passengers are advised to carry valid Air Tickets or boarding passes and use the sticker “Airport and Railway Passenger” on their vehicles. They may choose any road for travel to the Airport or Railway Station.

- Work-in-Progress (WIP) Vehicles – City Centre and Rabindra Pally Quarter Complex.
- Dignitaries’ and Official Vehicles – Office Lane box culvert.
- General Public Vehicles – IGM Chowmunani, RS Chowmuhani, Orient Chowmuhani, Jackson Gate box culvert/cover rain, Battala TRC Complex, Flyover under pillars 38 to 42, Gandhighat to Ramkrishna Mission, Gangail Road.
- Police Vehicles – Umakanta School Ground.

Northern Zone: Murtiprangan – Radhanagar – North Gate – Mara Chowmuhani – Power House Crossing – BK Road – Women’s College – LN Bali – Lions Gate – Kaman Chowmuhani – HGB Road – Post Office Chowmuhani – City Centre – Battala – Dashamighat.
Eastern Zone: Ashram Chowmuhani – Math Chowmuhani – Old Motor Stand – Kaman Chowmuhani – HGB Road – Post Office Chowmuhani – City Centre – Battala – Dashamighat.
Western Zone: Durga Chowmuhani – Sankar Chowmuhani – Boy Kumar – Colonel Chowmuhani – BK Chowmuhani – Lions Gate – Kaman Chowmuhani – HGB Road – Post Office Chowmuhani – City Centre – Battala – Dashamighat.
Southern Zone: AD Nagar – Nogerjola – Battala – Fire Service – IGM Chowmuhani – RMS Chowmuhani – Jackson Gate – Kaman Chowmuhani – HGB Road – Post Office Chowmuhani – City Centre – Battala – Dashamighat.
