Tripura’s Chief Minister, Prof. Dr. Manik Saha, stressed that the state can only achieve true progress through inclusive development. Addressing a gathering on Saturday, he emphasized the importance of ensuring that every section of society benefits from government initiatives. He highlighted that equitable growth, rather than selective advancement, would shape the future of Tripura. His statement came in the wake of discussions about economic policies and welfare programs aimed at uplifting marginalized communities.

Dr. Saha pointed out that sustainable development requires a holistic approach, where urban and rural populations receive equal opportunities. He assured that the government remains committed to bridging gaps in healthcare, education, and employment. Infrastructure development remains a key priority, with ongoing efforts to improve roads, connectivity, and digital access in remote areas. He underlined that an inclusive model fosters long-term stability and prosperity, preventing economic disparities from widening.

The Chief Minister also spoke about the role of governance in shaping Tripura’s growth trajectory. He reiterated that transparency, accountability, and citizen participation are vital components of a progressive administration. While previous governments focused on selective development, he claimed that the present administration aims to ensure that benefits reach every citizen, irrespective of their socio-economic background.

Healthcare access has significantly improved under government schemes, according to Dr. Saha. He mentioned that medical infrastructure is expanding, with new hospitals, better equipment, and more skilled professionals joining the workforce. Telemedicine facilities and mobile health units have been introduced to serve rural communities. The Chief Minister assured that no citizen should suffer due to a lack of medical facilities, and policies are being shaped accordingly.

In the field of education, Dr. Saha highlighted the government’s efforts to modernize schools and colleges. He acknowledged that quality education is the foundation of economic empowerment and that investment in education will shape the next generation of Tripura’s workforce. The administration has launched various scholarship programs, skill development initiatives, and vocational training courses to equip students for future challenges.

Employment opportunities remain a key focus area. The Chief Minister assured that the government is actively promoting industrial development and entrepreneurship to create jobs. He stated that self-reliance among youth is crucial and that financial assistance programs have been introduced to support startups and small businesses. With a growing emphasis on the digital economy, technology-based jobs and e-commerce ventures are receiving government support.

Dr. Saha also emphasized the importance of rural development in the state’s progress. Agricultural modernization, irrigation projects, and market linkages for farmers are being strengthened. He acknowledged that farmers form the backbone of Tripura’s economy, and empowering them will have a ripple effect on overall growth. The government is working on ensuring that farmers get fair prices for their produce while also introducing sustainable farming techniques to enhance productivity.

The Chief Minister did not shy away from addressing law and order concerns. He stated that safety and security are paramount for development, and his administration is committed to maintaining peace and harmony in Tripura. He assured that efforts are being made to curb crime, ensure swift justice, and strengthen law enforcement agencies. A peaceful environment, he said, is essential for investors and businesses to flourish.

Dr. Saha also encouraged public participation in governance. He urged citizens to take an active role in shaping policies and ensuring that government programs are effectively implemented. He highlighted that Tripura’s growth is a collective effort and that only through collaboration between the government and the people can true progress be achieved.

As he concluded his speech, the Chief Minister reaffirmed his commitment to making Tripura a model state through inclusive development. He assured that his government will continue working towards improving the quality of life for all residents, ensuring that no one is left behind in the journey of progress.
