A TMC Candidate Said He Cannot Afford Money To Buy People Votes For Meghalaya Election

Date:

Saljagringgrang Marak, a Trinamool Congress (TMC) candidate, said that he lacked the resources to draw sizable audiences and cannot afford to buy people’s votes for the upcoming Meghalaya election in 2023.

He also said that all of the people who come for him only and not by any pressure are his true supporters who will stick by him no matter what. He submitted his nomination with the help of his friends and family.

In Baghmara, enormous crowds have gathered over the previous two days to participate in practically every candidate’s nomination file. He said that the reason the masses gathered earlier was because of the money they received.

He submitted his nomination along with Dr. Rajesh Marak of the Rongara-Siju party and Lazarus Sangma of the Chokpot party. Each of the three submitted a nomination at district headquarters.
