A man’s body was found hanging from the roof of the house. This morning there was a lot of excitement in Kalitila area under Teliyamura police station. The deceased’s brother believes that the person committed suicide due to a family dispute. On receiving the information, the police of Teliyamura police station rushed to the spot and recovered the dead body and sent it to the hospital for post-mortem examination. For now, the police have started investigating the case of unusual death.
The brother of the deceased said that on Thursday morning Premanand Das’s wife found her husband hanging from the roof of the house. When the wife witnessed the incident and started screaming, other members of the house came running. Meanwhile, the police of Teliyamura police station rushed to the spot after receiving the information. The police recovered the body and confirmed his death and sent the body to the hospital for post-mortem.
The deceased’s brother also said that Premananda Das and his wife used to quarrel frequently. A case of bride torture was even filed against Premanand by his in-laws and his wife at the police station. Premanand had left the house on Wednesday due to a family dispute between them. He said that he did not return home that night. His body was found hanging from the roof of the house this morning.
However, the exact reason for this suicide is not yet known. The cause of death will be known after the post-mortem. For now, the police are starting the investigation by handling the case of unusual death.
